Under local and international privacy and data protection laws, Adventus (as well as its recruiters and institutions) have an obligation to protect customers' data and share how personal data is used, processed, stored and transmitted via the Adventus.io platform.
In addition, in order to maintain our American International Recruitment Council (AIRC) accreditation, Adventus is required to meet standards for how records are maintained (Standard 3, Clause 3.1.2).
These obligations apply to all data collected including student records. Our Recruiter Terms and Conditions make it clear that students need to know where and how their personal data is being processed and what their rights are. You are required to gain your students’ consent to:

Sharing and storing their personal data with Adventus; and

Sharing information regarding their application or educational records collected by an institution with Adventus.
To assist, we have created a “Student Authorization Form” which is located in the Required Application Documents section of Document Manager under the document type: Student Authorization: Permission to share and process personal data. It needs to be signed by the student or parent/legal guardian and uploaded to Adventus.io prior to application submission.
Our Admissions team cannot proceed with reviewing any application unless the Student Authorization Form is signed and uploaded on the platform.
Information collection is carried out by Adventus for the purpose of facilitating the student’s application, admission status, visa status and educational experience in accordance with our privacy policy: https://adventus.io/privacy-policy. We do not collect, use or process personal data for purposes other than those disclosed.
Student Consent Form - Release of Information
A limited number of USA institutions have their own student consent forms which seek student permission to share information about the offers received from institutions with Adventus.
If this form is required by Admissions, it will be listed as a Student Consent Form: Release of Information by Institution document type, under Required Application Documents in Document Manager.
When this form is required, you will need to have the student (or legal guardian) sign both the Student Authorization Form and the institution’s Release of Information form.
