Removing Courses from the Shortlist after Application Submission

We want to ensure that we are processing the correct applications for your student. As well, we don't want to send applications to institutions and then receive offers when the application is not required.

With this in mind, you will no longer be able to unshortlist a course from your student's shortlist after the application has been submitted. 

Please note that you can still update the shortlist before the application is submitted.

After application submission, the Shortlist button will no longer be available for shortlisted courses. Instead, we show a label indicating the stage that the application is up to.  You can hover your mouse over the label to get a further explanation about the application status.



As well, you won't be able to change the ranking of the student's courses after application submission.



If you have not reached the maximum number of applications allowed for your payment plan, you can still add a new course to the shortlist after the application has been submitted. Please note that this course will be ranked last in the list of applications.  For example, if you originally had two applications in the shortlist ranked 1 and 2, the new shortlisted course (shortlisted after application submission) will be ranked 3.



Important Note
If you need to change the shortlisted courses after the application has been submitted, you will need to contact our Global Admissions team - by message or email. Contact email addresses by source region are supplied below.
 

Applications can only be removed from the shortlist ('cancelled') by our team before an offer (conditional or full) for the application is received.  After this time, the application will not be able to be removed from the shortlist.

You can view a course that has been cancelled in the Cancelled tab on the Applications page.  The application will have the status 'Cancelled by QCV'.  You will still be able to view the messages that were sent between yourself and the Admissions team in the cancelled application's Messages tab.
