Mandatory Upload of Required Application Documents (Select Institution Applications only)

We are on a mission to improve application processing time and overall turnaround time for your students’ applications.

With this in mind, we are modifying the application submission process to require certain application documents to be uploaded before the application can be submitted to Adventus. These are the minimum required application documents as listed in the Document Manager on the platform.

At this stage, we are targeting applications to a few select institutions, but will increase the institutions affected over time.

Which documents does this apply to?

This change will only apply to application documents required for submission (that is, those required before institution lodgement) - visa and offer and acceptance documents will not be affected.

What if the student has applied for multiple institutions and only one of these is for an affected institution?

In this situation, application submission will be prevented for the bundle of applications until all the required application documents have been uploaded.
 

How will I know if I have an application for an affected institution?

If you have uploaded all the required application documents for the student’s application there will be no change in the process - you will be able to submit the application as normal.

However, if you haven’t uploaded all the required application documents and you try to move to the Review & Submit stage, an alert will be shown advising you that you will need to upload any missing documents before the application can be submitted.  The Review & Submit button will be 'greyed out' indicating the application cannot be submitted.  This button will become active once the documents have been uploaded.

On the Review & Submit page, we also show a red error message at the bottom of the screen advising that all required documents must be uploaded prior to submission.



In this situation, the Submit button will be a lighter green and will not be able to be clicked.

Once the missing documents have been uploaded, the Submit button will be activated and dark green.
